The Fine Art of Aging—Gracefully.
Reflections on later-life living — beauty, wisdom, faith, family, the caregiver years, and a healthy dose of menopause humor — from a recovering perfectionist who learned to laugh first.

The Mission
An Alternative Look at the Aging Process — Helpful, Honest, and Often Hilarious.
We explore maturing, beauty, wisdom, faith, and even menopause humor — because we are all in this thing called life together. Discover the fine art of aging gracefully. We might as well do it with great hair, strong coffee, and humor.

About the Author
I Started This Blog Because the Second Half is the More Interesting One.
I started Autumn of My Life as a way to share my experiences and humor on aging gracefully. As someone who has struggled with maintaining a healthy lifestyle, I wanted to create a place that encourages others to lead a more balanced and happy life.
I approach life with love, kindness, joy, humor, and curiosity. As a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, I navigate celiac disease and multiple sclerosis, and I was widowed after caring for my husband through Alzheimer’s. Sometimes, if you can’t laugh, you’ll cry. So I write — and laugh — first.
